Master Ricky created a school where you train your mind and your body and he makes it accessble for all ages. My son... and I have trained with him for over eight years. He does meet each student where they are but expects everyone to push themselves and excel. He closely follows the teachings of Grand Master Ki Wang Kim and has created a cumunity and school of students that are kind, caring and train hard. When it comes to karate schools, Mr. Ricky is second to none! He and his staff have created a positive environment for... kids and adults to learn self defense and discipline in a fun way. Covid protocols are enforced, and there is plenty of room in the dojo for social distancing. Enrolling at Kenzen-do was one of the best decisions I’ve made!read more

I have zero experience with martial arts but I decided to enroll in the adult classes a few weeks ago to improve my... mental and physical health. Though it’s a thirty minute drive from my house, I must say that it’s been the best decision I’ve made. After a year of working from home due to Covid, I was noticing a lack of motivation to get my work done along with the weight gain. Master Moji is truly an inspiration. Master Moji is excellent. I first signed up my two kids 5 and 6 years old. He has so much patience and so good with... kids that I was very impressed. The studio is flawless. It was finished after COVID started so they implemented all the proper ventilation systems and made the place very safe. I was so impressed that I signed myself up for classes too. Master Moji is so dynamic and adaptive for his students that his adult classes are tailored much differently and being a beginner I didn’t feel intimidated and felt very welcome to the practice of martial arts. I plan on having the entire family be a part of his dojo for a very long time.read more
